Swift Temps are recruiting on behalf of our client for Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Middlewich. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role within a busy production environment, offering excellent earning potential through shift and cleaning allowances. The role is a mixture of machine operation and manual duties, so we're looking for individuals who don't mind getting stuck in and working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Previous experience within manufacturing, production, concrete, construction materials, aggregates, recycling or heavy industry would be advantageous, although candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered. Key Responsibilities • Operating production machinery safely and efficiently, • Assisting with the manufacture of concrete and construction-related products, • Loading raw materials into production equipment, • Carrying out manual handling and general production duties, • Cleaning machinery and production areas to maintain high housekeeping standards, • Conducting routine equipment checks and reporting any faults, • Supporting the movement of materials around site, • Operating FLT and loading shovel equipment where trained, • Working safely in line with company Health & Safety procedures, • Supporting the team to achieve daily production targets What We're Looking For • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment, • Comfortable carrying out physically demanding work, • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic, • Reliable with excellent timekeeping, • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, • FLT Counterbalance and/or Loading Shovel experience would be advantageous, although licences are not essential as full assessments and training will be provided, • Flexible approach to work and shift patterns, • Strong awareness of health and safety within an industrial environment What's on Offer • £15.00 - £17.00 per hour, • £120 per week shift allowance, • £50 per week cleaning allowance, • 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, • 12-hour day shifts (05:0017:00 or 06:0018:00), • Weekly pay, • Ongoing temporary assignment with the opportunity to become permanent, • Permanent applications also welcomed, • Full training and development opportunities, • Long-term career prospects within a growing manufacturing business If your application is successful you will receive a call from Swift Temps NW - Deeside Branch on 01244728137.
