Location: Winsford, CheshireSalary: Circa £60,000 per annum + Company Car + Benefits \n The Opportunity \n Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Manager to join a successful and growing organisation based in Cheshire. \n This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for managing a portfolio of key client relationships, driving commercial performance, maximising contract value and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Working closely with Operations, Finance and Business Development teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in customer retention, business growth and strategic account development. \n This opportunity would suit a commercially minded leader who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, developing high-performing teams and delivering measurable business results. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Lead, coach and develop a team of customer-facing account professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.\n, • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, acting as the senior point of contact for complex or escalated matters.\n, • Drive customer retention, contract renewals and profitable growth across an established portfolio of accounts.\n, • Identify opportunities to expand services, secure additional projects and increase revenue within existing customer relationships.\n, • Manage commercial reviews, pricing discussions and contractual changes to ensure agreements remain profitable and aligned with business objectives.\n, • Develop and implement account growth plans, identifying opportunities for service enhancement and additional value creation.\n, • Work closely with operational teams to ensure contractual commitments, service standards and customer expectations are consistently achieved.\n, • Support the mobilisation and onboarding of new customer contracts, ensuring a seamless transition into operational delivery.\n, • Produce regular reporting on customer performance, commercial activity, growth opportunities and service improvement initiatives.\n, • Champion continuous improvement, driving enhancements in customer experience, operational efficiency and commercial outcomes.\n, • Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations and Business Development teams to deliver wider business objectives.\n\n What We're Looking For \n\n • Proven experience in a Commercial Manager, or a similar client facing leadership role.\n, • Strong background in managing client contracts within a service-driven, outsourced or multi-site operational environment.\n, • Demonstrable success in delivering customer retention, revenue growth and contract profitability.\n, • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.\n, • Experience leading and developing teams to achieve commercial and operational objectives.\n, • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse contract performance and identify growth opportunities.\n, • Confident communicator with the ability to build credibility and influence senior stakeholders.\n, • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\n, • Full UK driving licence.\n\n What's on Offer \n\n • Circa £60,000 per annum\n, • Company Car\n, • Company Pension Scheme\n, • Company Bonus Scheme\n, • 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays\n\n Interested? \n If you have a proven track record of managing key customer relationships, delivering commercial growth and developing high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.
