HR Assistant | Rainham | Part-time 20 hours | Pro Rata £15k – £17.5k \n One to One Personnel are seeking a proactive and well-organised HR Assistant to support our clients day to day HR operations within a busy but small working environment. \n This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in HR processes. \n Working closely with the HR team, you will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll support and general HR queries, ensuring a smooth and professional service for all staff. \n Please note to be considered for this position you will need to be CIPD qualified. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Support the recruitment process by posting job adverts, screening CVs and scheduling interviews.\n, • Conduct HR checks for blue-collar employees.\n, • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.\n, • Assist with onboarding, including preparing documentation, orientation materials and initial training.\n, • Provide support with payroll processing and benefits administration.\n, • Help coordinate employee training and development activities.\n, • Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures and benefits.\n, • Assist in preparing HR reports, documentation and presentations.\n, • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required.\n\n Qualifications & Skills \n\n • You will be CIPD qualified or have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.\n, • Previous HR or administrative experience is an advantage.\n, • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.\n, • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills.\n, • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\n, • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.\n, • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.\n\n The Package \n\n • (20 hours per week) ideally 10:00am – 2:00pm Monday to Friday\n, • Salary range: £15,000 – £17,500 annually depending on experience\n, • Onsite parking available and close to public transport\n, • 25 days + Bank Holidays (pro rata) (5 days to be saved for Christmas shutdown)\n, • Medical assistance – Vitality\n, • Pension scheme\n, • Team building days\n, • Team events\n, • Monthly office lunch\n\n For more information please contact Sophie Barnes
