This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified instructor, or someone with practical forklift experience who is looking to begin a new career in training. Full instructor training can be provided for the right person. ABOUT US: Fife Group are an established family own business who are experts in self-storage, training, fulfilment, warehousing services and commercial property; aiming to deliver the best possible service to their customers across central Fife. THE ROLE: Based within Fife Groups busy training centre, you will help coordinate, administer and deliver Mechanical Handling Equipment training. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, practical and safety-focused training in line with company standards, relevant industry requirements and MHE and Health and Safety regulations. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to refresh, assess and novice train Counterbalance Forklift with full training provided for novice applicant. The successful applicant will also be trained over a period of time to deliver a wide range of training programmes, including: • Pivot steer-bendi/flexi (P1), • Counterbalance Forklift (B1-B2-B3), • Side Loader (C1), • Multi-direction Lift Truck (M1-M2-M3-M4), • Rough Terrain Masted /Telescopic Lift Truck (J1-J3-J5), • Electric Pallet Truck (A1-A7), • Reach Truck (D1), • First Aid, • Manual Handling, • Abrasive Wheel ABOUT YOU: You will be approachable, professional and passionate about helping others improve their skills, confidence and understanding of workplace safety. We are looking for someone who has: • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively., • The confidence to communicate with a wide variety of people e.g. staff, clients, delegates., • A professional, patient and supportive approach to improving skills and safety, whilst being highly organised., • A commitment to personal development and progressing within the role (as progression opportunities in this role are available)., • A full UK driving license (this is essential for this role)., • Proficient working knowledge of office IT systems including MS Outlook, Word and Excel., • A minimum of two years forklift operating experience and appropriate certification. If you do not already hold a valid Instructor/Examiner certificate, we still want to hear from you this is not an essential element of the role as full training will be given.
