Strategic Project Leadership with Clear Pathway to UK Management (West London Base) This is the rapidly expanding UK branch of a leading European specialist in electrical and thermal load testing equipment. They are a crucial partner to the data centre and construction industries, supporting critical infrastructure commissioning across the globe. The UK team is small and dynamic, offering unrivalled career progression with the resources of a major European brand. This role offers a clear path to move swiftly into a senior managerial position to lead the UK branch. Crucially, the position provides direct entry into the high-growth Data Centre space, managing mission-critical commissioning projects without requiring prior data centre experience. Location & Work Setup • Location: Based in West London (excellent transport links)., • Work Hours: Normal Mon-Fri (9-5) with OT available, • Travel: Extensive travel is required across the UK (covered by the car allowance), plus occasional all-expenses-paid opportunities for international travel (e.g., France, Nordics). Salary & Package • Salary Range: £40,000 – £60,000 (Inclusive of a Car Allowance)., • Future Benefits: Health insurance and company-wide bonuses are planned as the team continues to scale. Must-Have Profile • Technical Expertise: Electrical engineering degree OR substantial prior experience as a qualified electrician., • Industry Experience: Proven background working within the Construction industry, familiar with complex, high-pressure sites., • Mindset is Critical: Must be a strong scope manager, not a "yes-man." The ability to refuse unfeasible client or internal orders is paramount for operational integrity., • H&S Awareness: An understanding of H&S compliance requirements is highly beneficial., • Nice-to-Haves: Proven team management experience and a current CSCS card. Key Project Responsibilities & Exposure The Project Manager is expected to manage 7–8 concurrent projects, overseeing the technical execution and client relationships. • Project Scope: They will manage the technical delivery of temporary electrical and thermal load bank installations, primarily supporting commissioning processes for major construction handovers and critical data centre upgrades., • Technical Review: They conduct the initial technical review of sales quotes to verify feasibility and prevent scope creep., • Client Leadership: The Project Manager serves as the primary client relationship manager on-site, coordinating logistics and driving on-site problem-solving for complex electrical setup issues., • Project Lifecycle: They oversee all phases, from planning and resource allocation to post-project financial analysis and quality reporting., • Internal Mandate: This role is critical as it supports the existing team's need to dedicate time to mandatory H&S compliance.
