Our Client are looking for an experienced Landscaper/Gardener to join their team at a luxury residential estate based in Croydon. \n \n Working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, 37.5 hours per week. \n \n Salary is £40,950 annually. \n \n Duties include: \n \n\n • Landscape & Grounds Maintenance\n\n\n, • Carry out daily litter picking across the estate to maintain a clean environment.\n, • Maintain planting areas, lawns, trees, and shrubs to a high horticultural standard.\n, • Undertake seasonal planting, pruning, and soil care activities.\n, • Manage irrigation systems and monitor plant health to ensure optimal growth.\n, • Maintain riverbank vegetation to prevent overgrowth and minimise erosion risks.\n, • Operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery safely and effectively.\n, • Identify pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies and take appropriate corrective action.\n, • Ensure all external areas are kept free of litter, weeds, and hazards.\n, • Support biodiversity and implement sustainable gardening practices.\n, • Ensure all activities comply with health and safety requirements, particularly when working near water or in public areas.\n\n \n\n • System Management\n\n\n, • Monitor the system to ensure assigned works are completed and all relevant documentation is uploaded.\n, • Log and respond to resident issues promptly and professionally through the system.\n\n \n\n • Health & Safety Management\n\n\n, • Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and secure environment across the estate.\n, • Report and document all incidents, accidents, and near misses.\n, • Follow all health and safety procedures as directed by the Managing Agent or Health & Safety Consultant.\n, • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.\n, • Support health and safety inspections, audits, and record-keeping.\n, • Conduct regular inspections of workspaces, facilities, and storage areas.\n, • Identify and report hazards across the estate and within work areas.\n, • Undertake or assist with non-specialist scheduled health and safety tasks as directed by the Estate Manager.\n\n \n Qualifications Required: \n\n • Proven experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture.\n, • Good knowledge of plant care, pruning techniques, and lawn maintenance.\n, • Ability to operate landscaping equipment (e.g. mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters).\n, • Understanding of seasonal gardening and planting requirements.\n, • Awareness of environmental practices, including riverbank and water-side maintenance.\n\n
