Salary: £80 - £90 per day Hours: 9 hours a day Job type: Full-time (part time can be considered) PLUMBING & HEATING APPRENTICES Location: Surrey and KT postcodes – on the road Boilergurus Limited is a central heating and plumbing services company covering all KT postcodes and most of Surrey. We are ideally looking for Level 2 and Level 3 (not essential) plumbing and heating apprentices who are keen to gain practical experience and develop their skills, with opportunities to grow within the company. Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence. Having your own car is an advantage but is not essential. THE ROLE Working alongside experienced engineers, apprentices will gain experience in: • Boiler installations., • Unvented cylinder installations., • Gas pipe installations, assisting under appropriate supervision., • Central heating and radiator installations., • Boiler servicing and gas safety inspections, assisting qualified engineers., • General plumbing and heating works., • Recording work on the job management system. Gas work will only be undertaken under appropriate supervision as part of training. Boilergurus’ Head Engineer will provide on-site training and support during installations and will attend the beginning and end of every installation. REQUIREMENTS • Currently undertaking a Level 2 or Level 3 plumbing and heating qualification (ideal but not essential), • A valid UK driving licence., • Own car preferred to arrive at office each day, but not essential as you will be driving the company van during working hours., • A keen interest in plumbing and heating and a willingness to learn., • A reliable, punctual and professional approach., • Attention to detail and pride in the quality of work., • A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team. Assistant General Manager (AGM)

We are seeking a enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Manager to join our Warm Rosette Pub in Barnes! We’re a community-focused pub in Barnes, with a strong reputation for great food, drinks and service. Alongside our everyday pub trade, we host a wide range of events, from birthdays and private parties to weddings, celebrations and larger gatherings. We’re looking for someone who is confident leading a team, passionate about hospitality and understands what it takes to run a successful pub. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll play an important role in the day to day running of The Crossing. You’ll be a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable managing a busy Friday night, overseeing a private celebration or making sure the cellar is running perfectly. You’ll help ensure that our guests receive consistently excellent service while supporting the team and maintaining the high standards we expect across the pub. Key responsibilities • Supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day operation of the pub, • Leading and motivating the team during busy services, • Maintaining consistently high standards of service, presentation and hospitality, • Taking responsibility for the pub in the absence of the General Manager, • Managing and maintaining the cellar, gas, • Managing stock levels, deliveries and stock rotation, • Supporting ordering and reducing waste and unnecessary stock loss, • Ensuring licensing, health & safety and company procedures are followed, • Training and developing team members, • Dealing confidently and professionally with guest feedback and complaints, • Helping maintain excellent relationships with regular customers and the local community Events are an important part of The Crossing, so experience in private hire and event management is highly desirable.
