In this multi-skilled\nrole, you will have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly\nskilled, dynamic maintenance team based at our brand-new state of\nthe art manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton. You’ll deliver\nexcellence by providing engineering maintenance support to all\nmanufacturing assets and equipment. Our manufacturing technologies\nincludes automated equipment comprising of robots, automated\nwelding and joining equipment, laser joining systems, automated\nconveyors, complex tooling, and fixturing and lifting\nequipment. Whether you’re an electrical\nengineer, mechanical engineer or a multiskilled engineer, you will\nreceive all the training and support you require to build on your\ncurrent qualifications and experience. The role will offer you the\nchance to gain some of the industry’s best training including\nSiemens Training, Kuka Robotics Training and also ABB Robotics\nTraining. You will also have the chance to work in one of the most\nmodern and cleanest factories in the area where people really enjoy\ntheir work. You will be working on\nmachinery that is being used to build Battery Packs, Electric Drive\nUnits and other Electrification machinery. You will be part of the\ngrowing world of electric cars and helping JLR to continue to grow\nin this\narea. WHAT TO\nEXPECT As part of\nthe Maintenance team you will be: * First response\nto breakdowns and controls to deliver minimal down time using safe\nworking practices * Carrying\nout PM checks, running checks and ensure completion to\nschedule * Implementing\npermanent corrective actions to reoccurring\nissues * Carrying out\nweekend/shutdown work and deliver projects as per business\nrequirements * Willingness to\nundertake training as and when required by the\nbusiness WHAT YOU'LL\nNEED Along\nwith your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several\nskills you'll need to have to help you succeed here,\nincluding: * A relevant Level\n3 NVQ/BTEC/City and Guilds in\nEngineering * Significant\nexperience with in a manufacturing\nenvironment * Experience with\nCNC Machining Centres, Systems and Procedures including Conveyor\nsystems, Gantry and auxiliary equipment, Machining Aluminium or\nSteel, or previous experience in a Maintenance profession in a high\nvolume production\nenvironment * Good working\nknowledge of Siemens PLC’s and Electrical fault finding\ntechniques Applicants must have\nthe right to work in the UK at the time of application, as the role\nis not eligible for\nsponsorship.
