We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician for a permanent position based with our client in York. Immediate start available (subject to interview process). Salary is £30,000 per annum and upwards depending on experience. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience within engineering, production, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, or a strong mechanical background. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering business and play a key role in maintaining and improving product quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Quality Control & Assurance • Carry out final quality inspections on machines before they leave the factory, • Inspect paint finish and overall cosmetic appearance, • Complete visual weld inspections, • Conduct torque checks on fasteners, • Verify hydraulic and electrical systems, • Ensure all correct options and components are fitted, • Perform functional testing and geometry checks, • Sign off completed machines for stock or identify any rectification work required to meet quality standards Reporting & Documentation • Monitor and track build quality and production trends, • Highlight recurring issues and support continuous improvement initiatives, • Maintain accurate records for internal audits and quality reviews
