Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join their friendly and professional team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the pharmacy, ensuring that patients receive an excellent standard of care and service at all times. You will assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, maintain accurate records, manage stock levels, and provide support and advice to customers under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Key Responsibilities • Accurately dispense and label prescribed medications under the supervision of the pharmacist, • Provide excellent customer service and deal with patient queries in a professional and compassionate manner, • Assist with the preparation of monitored dosage systems (MDS) and repeat prescription management, • Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient medication records, • Support the pharmacist in ensuring the safe, efficient, and legal supply of medicines, • Receive, check, and store pharmaceutical stock in accordance with regulations, • Essential: NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent qualification), • Previous experience working in a community or hospital pharmacy environment, • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, • Strong communication and customer service skills, • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or willingness to work towards it), • Experience with [insert relevant PMR system, e.g., ProScript, PharmOutcomes], • Competitive salary and benefits package, • Supportive working environment with opportunities for professional development, • Ongoing training and progression opportunities
