Applicants should therefore be prepared to work a mixture of: • Day shifts, • Evening shifts, • Weekends, • Bank holidays, • Major sporting and entertainment events Hours and shift patterns will depend on the individual venue and position. The successful candidate will be responsible for House Removals and Delivering Furniture from warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily operations. Responsibilities • Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations., • Load and unload items, ensuring all products are secured for transport., • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues., • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met., • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages encountered during transit., • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving., • Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
