This long term role involves Class 1 multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised freight and requires someone comfortable with a physical, hands-on job. The Role You will work as part of an established transport team completing multi-drop Class 1 deliveries and collections across the local and regional area. The work involves manual handling, operating equipment, and confidently managing palletised goods. Vehicles will include curtain siders and double deckers. Ideally, candidates will be happy to work on either Class 1 or Class 2 duties if required, offering flexibility across the operation. Key Responsibilities for Class 1 HGV Driver: Completing Class 1 (C+E) multi-drop deliveries and collections Driving curtain siders and double deckers Providing polite and professional customer service Using pump trucks, electric pallet trucks, and tail lifts (full training provided) Using an delivery tracking device to confirm deliveries and report damages or incidents Maintaining safe, compliant, and well presented vehicles Performing manual handling tasks.
