Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers according to relevant standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 10). Perform hydrostatic testing, refilling, and recharging of fire extinguishers as needed. Identify and troubleshoot issues with fire extinguishers, and perform repairs or replacements as necessary. Install new fire extinguishers and provide training to clients on proper usage and maintenance. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and services performed using company software or documentation. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to provide technical support and recommendations to clients. Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to fire extinguisher servicing and maintenance. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge. Requirements: Certified Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician or equivalent certification. Previous experience in fire protection or a related field is preferred.
