We are seeking an experienced Analytical Scientist to join our laboratory team in Ruislip. This laboratory-based role involves performing routine and non-routine analyses to support product development, stability programs, and quality control of pharmaceutical products. About the role: Conduct analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using HPLC, HPLC-MS, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, particle size analysis, and titrations. Manage stability sample loading, pooling, and testing for product development and licensed product programs. Perform analytical development testing and technical transfer analysis to support new product introduction. Analyse investigational samples to support complaint investigations, OOS (Out-of-Specification), and OOT (Out-of-Trend) results. Assist with laboratory deviations and escalate critical compliance issues via the site Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS). Prepare and standardise chemical reagents and laboratory solutions; calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment. Maintain accurate documentation of test results and adhere to data integrity and laboratory safety procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support process validation, cleaning validation, audits, regulatory inspections, and CAPA implementation. About you: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent science-related discipline (required). Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, particle size analysis, and titrations (required) Knowledge of EU GMP guidelines and laboratory compliance standards (required). Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively (required).
