Duties and responsibilities related to the Sous Chef role Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef, supporting planning, budgeting, and overall kitchen performance Deliver exceptional dining experiences by maintaining the highest standards across all outlets Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality Supervise, train, and develop the kitchen brigade, providing guidance and performance oversight Assist in menu development, including seasonal offerings and event-specific dishes Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and control food costs in line with budget targets Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety regulations Handle guest feedback professionally, resolving complaints and enhancing satisfaction Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience Support service where required, including presenting dishes to guests in line with luxury service standards About you You will have proven experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel or high-volume kitchen. A skilled culinary professional, you bring strong leadership andorganisationalabilities, along with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
