Salary up to £36,000 per annum 40-hour working week 5 days from 7, including evenings and weekends Exposure to a variety of dining styles including fine dining, hospitality, conferencing and banqueting Supportive leadership team and chef-led culture Excellent opportunities for development and progression The Role As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation and service are consistently maintained. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards Leading, motivating and developing the kitchen team Supporting the management of kitchen operations and stepping up in the absence of senior chefs Assisting with menu creation and seasonal development Managing stock control, ordering and food cost targets Supporting budget management and profitability goals Recruiting, training and mentoring kitchen staff Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations Delivering exceptional guest experiences across all food outlets About You We're looking for a chef with previous experience in a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef position, ideally within a hotel, conference and banqueting, or high-volume hospitality environment.
