Job Description Job Title: Bartender Reports To: Assistant General Manager . The ideal bartender candidate has a genuine passion for hospitality. QUALIFICATIONS: * Commitment to hospitality * 2 + years bartending experience * Must exhibit excellent communication skills and a pleasant friendly attitude toward their colleagues and guests * Keeping a professional demeanor while having a sense of humor and a strong passion for hospitality PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours * Must be able to move, pull carry or lift of up to 40 plus pounds .DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Demonstrate knowledge of all signature cocktails (ingredients, spec, build) * Must have well established knowledge of classic cocktails * Demonstrate working knowledge of our natural wine program set forth by Wine Director * Maintain an understanding of the proper steps of service. Consistently execute them with efficiency and grace while multitasking and maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service * Anticipate guest needs and create strong guest relationships. Guest recognition is critical to success. * Create a warm, fun and exciting environment for bar guests to enjoy.

Job DescriptionSalary: BARTENDER JOB SUMMARY The Bartenders job is to make and serve consistent cocktails while guiding the guest through their dining experience with grace, charm and warm hospitality. Bartenders are required to learn the cocktail recipes and build every cocktail on the Aejo cocktail menu to spec. A basic understanding of agave spirits is required and learning about the individual products we offer is also a must. Bartenders perform duties in a pleasant, conscientious, fun, energetic, and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction. • Must be able to work in a team. Teamwork is essential at Aejo., • Must have the able to stay clean and organized throughout a shift, • Must remain friendly and enthusiastic for the entire shift, • Must appear graceful and calm everywhere in the restaurant, • Must Arrive to work looking sharp and professional. Your appearance is the guests first impression of you., • Must be able to handle problems and difficult situations effectively, • Must have an excellent ability to take direction and work in a team environment, • Walk and stand for entire shift, • Lift and carry racks or stacks of dishes, glassware and other utensils, • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and lifting., • Work in a high intensity environment, • Working indoors and outdoors, • Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass and metal cans, burns, slipping and tripping., • Frequent washing of hands, • Clean and presentable appearance, • Able to work efficiently in crowded and tight areas KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS • Special knowledge or skills necessary for this position:, • Product knowledge, • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures, • Extremely calm and effectively under pressure, • Health Department procedures, • Ability to pour drinks with a jigger, • Understanding of how to craft a cocktail, • Can produce hand crafted cocktails that are shaken, stirred and built
