Join our back-of-house (BOH) team and play a vital role in the kitchen operations at Cafe Landwer. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about food and teamwork. Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the guidance of the head chef, • Ensure all food preparation and storage areas are kept clean and comply with health and safety standards, • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service, • Manage inventory and restock items as needed, • Assist in receiving and organizing food deliveries Qualifications: • Experience in a kitchen environment is an advantage, • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, • Capability to follow instructions and learn new recipes, • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Kitchen management: Overseeing the kitchen's operations, finances, and resources Menu creation: Developing recipes, planning menus, and ensuring quality and consistency. Staff management: Hiring, training, and supervising cooks and other food preparation workers Food preparation: Working the line and preparing dishes Safety and sanitation: Ensuring compliance with nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations. Inventory: Ordering and maintaining an inventory of food and supplies Customer satisfaction: Dealing with issues that may arise to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaboration: Working with other leads and managers to ensure a respectful workplace Applicants must have experience in an Indian Kitchen and be willing and able to recreate specialty dishes.

Responsibilities include cooking fresh pasta to order, preparing sauces, maintaining station cleanliness, following portion standards, and ensuring every dish is consistent and high quality. Must be able to work quickly during rush hours, communicate well with the team, and keep a clean, efficient line. Experience with pasta is a plus, but not required — we can train the right person.
