Job DescriptionHybrid/Garden City, NY Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 The Digital Projects Implementation Analyst specializes in facilitating the deployment of new software applications and business tools, as well as services for digital projects that support Apple Bank’s digital banking strategy. The Analyst is responsible for reviewing business requirements, creating user acceptance test scripts, conducting user testing, collaborating on training documentation, and educating staff on new systems and processes. About the Role: The Medical Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities located in Brooklyn, Fresh Meadows, and Great Neck. The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, creating a welcoming environment and addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy. On subsequent visits, verifies demographic and billing information to ensure accuracy., • Obtains patient demographic and insurance information, verifies insurance eligibility, and enters accurate information in the electronic health record., • Provides patients with an explanation of all registration forms, obtain patient/guardian signatures on required consents and acknowledgements, and scan all accurately completed registration forms in the electronic health record., • Navigates through insurance portals and accurately interprets coverage information such as the plan coverage description, copayment, primary care provider, etc., • Verifies whether a referral or pre-authorization of medical necessity is required for visit., • Assists patients with changing their primary care provider if applicable., • Enters eligible patients into the sliding scale program and enter all necessary information in the electronic record., • Collects and processes payment due for visit and complete the daily cash reconciliation process., • Schedules patients’ appointments in accordance with criteria established by the health center., • Performs appointment reminder calls and no-show calls., • Manages a large volume of incoming calls on a multi-line phone system. Handles all calls politely and professionally and refers calls to the appropriate staff member., • Communicates and coordinates with physicians and/or clinical staff to ensure timely patient care., • Records and relays messages to the appropriate staff member., • Opens, sorts, and distribute mail and faxes., • Performs other clerical duties such as filling, photocopying, and scanning of medical records., • Provides coverage in other departments or health centers as needed The required skills for this position, such as strong organizational abilities, are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records. Job Description Overview Prepares technical and clerical tasks associated with the preparation, labeling and dispensing of pharmaceuticals. Plays an integral role in the inventory and quality assurance activities. Picks and pulls supplies and home medical equipment., • Ensures compounding/clean room areas and related equipment are cleaned, sanitized and maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures and USP 797 and USP 800 standards. Documents all activities on the appropriate logs., • Obtains supply inventories from patients/clients and communicates information obtained to the Pharmacist as required., • Participates in branch management, department and intra-departmental meetings and quality improvement activities., • Adheres to all accreditation, OSHA, FDA, state, local and federal regulations and standards relevant to infusion pharmacy and home medical equipment. Qualifications • Successful completion of an approved/accredited pharmacy technician training program; IV certification preferred, • Certified pharmacy technician licenses, required per individual State Board of Pharmacy, • One to three (1-3) years of related pharmacy experience in a home care setting, • At least one (1) year of aseptic preparation of infusion-related pharmaceuticals in a hospital or home infusion setting, • General knowledge of drug terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, drug use and aseptic techniques, • Effective mathematical and communication skills required, • Basic pharmacy knowledge of reading and interpreting prescriptions, • Ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently, • Valid driver’s license
