This is an opportunity to join a highly stable international bank’s NYC-based Structured Finance team, supporting new project finance transactions and monitoring an existing portfolio across energy, infrastructure, and related sectors. Structured Finance / Project Finance Officer - NYC Hybrid Why This Role Join a lean, stable, and collaborative Structured Finance group at an international bank with a strong New York presence. This is a credit-heavy project finance role with exposure to new transactions, internal credit approvals, ratings, financial model analysis, documentation, waivers/amendments, portfolio monitoring, and market research. You’ll report directly to the Head of Structured Finance and work closely with credit, legal, middle/back office, sponsors, financial advisors, and lender groups. What’s Offered • $140-160k base + 25% target bonus, • Hybrid: 2 days/week in Midtown NYC near Grand Central, • 9-5 hours and strong work-life balance, • Excellent benefits, including 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision, • 401(k) match up to 5%, • Stable international bank with approximately 80 people in the NY branch, • Long-term platform, not a hire-and-fire environment Key Responsibilities • Lead the credit process for new project finance transactions, • Conduct due diligence and credit analysis on new transactions, • Prepare credit applications and internal rating proposals, • Present transactions internally and coordinate with the Credit Department, • Review financial models, cash flows, ratings, and transaction documentation, • Manage the documentation process alongside the legal team, • Monitor existing project finance transactions, • Review waivers, amendments, internal ratings, and internal reports, • Conduct sector, country, regulatory, and portfolio-related research, • Support senior management with internal branch reporting, • Build relationships with sponsors, financial advisors, and lenders to identify new project finance opportunities Requirements • 4+ years of experience in financial institutions, with at least 2+ years in project finance or structured finance, • Energy, infrastructure, or renewables project finance experience strongly preferred, • Strong credit analysis, due diligence, rating, and cash flow analysis skills, • Hands-on financial model analysis experience, • Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling; macros and pivot tables a plus, • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support broader branch / group initiatives, • Spanish language skills are a plus Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 100% covered by employer 401(k) employer match up to 5%, with vesting schedule Eligible for benefits on first day of employment 20 vacation days from second calendar year 10 sick days 2 personal days Carryover up to 5 vacation days from prior year Employer-covered short-term disability, long-term disability, AD&D, and life insurance How to Apply Ready to take the next step?
