Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Employer Financial Specialist to support benefits administration and employer-facing financial processes for our team in New York, New York. This role is responsible for coordinating benefit-related activities, resolving billing questions, and ensuring accurate handling of leave and continuation coverage matters. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, solid Excel skills, and experience working across compensation, benefits, and service systems. Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day benefits administration activities, ensuring accurate processing and timely follow-up on employee and employer requests., • Coordinate benefit enrollments, updates, and issue resolution while serving as a key point of contact for benefit-related inquiries., • Administer COBRA-related tasks, including eligibility tracking, notifications, and ongoing record maintenance., • Support leave of absence cases by monitoring documentation, communicating status updates, and helping maintain compliance with applicable policies., • Review and reconcile benefit billing details, investigate discrepancies, and partner with internal or external stakeholders to resolve payment issues., • Maintain accurate information within CRM and related systems to support reporting, service tracking, and case management., • Use Excel to analyze benefit and billing data, prepare summaries, and identify trends or exceptions requiring attention.• At least 3 years of experience in benefits administration, benefits coordination, or a closely related area., • Practical knowledge of compensation and benefits processes, including employee support and plan administration., • Experience handling COBRA administration and leave of absence activities., • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data review, reconciliation, and reporting., • Familiarity with CRM platforms and the ability to maintain accurate service and account records., • Background in billing support, invoice review, or financial coordination related to benefits., • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
