Job DescriptionJob Title: Dryer OperatorJob Description We are seeking skilled Dryer Operators to join our team. You will be responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring the process of drying chemical slurry, operating industrial dryers, and ensuring the quality of the final product. Responsibilities • Set up, operate, and monitor the drying process of chemical slurry., • Track and record production output using computer tracking systems., • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on process equipment., • Understand each piece of equipment and control systems in the assigned work area, including startup, operation, and shutdown procedures., • Diagnose equipment issues and understand equipment hazards and safe operation., • Understand the role and purpose of each piece of equipment and its impact on surrounding processes and storage areas., • Follow operating procedures, including process, safety, and maintenance protocols., • Be aware of process and chemical hazards in the area.Essential Skills, • Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing process equipment., • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with operating procedures., • Ability to use computers for documentation and production tracking.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • 1-2 years of experience in process equipment operations., • Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to chemical processes.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of AVENEL, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
