    Job Summary The General Manager / Assistant General Manager provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and financial management for our food distribution facility. This role is directly responsible for ensuring peak supply chain efficiency, strict cold chain integrity, regulatory compliance, and a safety-first warehouse culture. You will manage everyday operations—spanning inbound inventory, fleet logistics, vendor relations, and P&L accountability—while mentoring a high-performing operations team to achieve company growth targets. Core Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Fleet Logistics • Direct all day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, quality control, inventory management, picking, and staging., • Oversee outbound fleet logistics, ensuring optimal route design, Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance, and on-time delivery metrics., • Maintain a continuous improvement culture to maximize warehouse space and reduce cycle times. Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance • Enforce absolute compliance with FDA, USDA, OSHA, and local Department of Health regulations., • Guarantee the strict execution of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs)., • Act as the primary point of contact for all external facility audits and government inspections. Financial & Vendor Management • Hold full P&L accountability, actively managing operational budgets, capital expenditures, labor costs, and shrinkage rates., • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify cost-saving initiatives and revenue leakages., • Negotiate strategic service contracts with third-party freight carriers, equipment maintenance vendors, and product suppliers. Team Development & Culture • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse supervisors, drivers, customer service representatives, and sales staff., • Cultivate a transparent, accountable, and rewarding work environment focused on high employee retention and safety., • Oversee labor scheduling and workplace performance metrics to keep operations nimble and properly staffed across all shifts. Required Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (MBA preferred) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related field., • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume distribution or warehousing facility (food or beverage industry required)., • Logistics Acumen: Deep understanding of First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory rotation, food traceability protocols, and shelf-life tracking.     KISMERA INC INDEPENDENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE | NEW YORK Kismera INC is expanding its presence in New York and seeking an experienced Independent Sales Representative to represent our professional hair-care collection across The Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn. THE OPPORTUNITY The Sales Representative will develop and grow a portfolio of professional salon accounts, introduce Kismera INC products to salon owners and beauty professionals, and establish long-term business relationships within the territory. This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity designed for an accomplished sales professional who is confident working independently and building a territory. IDEAL CANDIDATE • Proven experience selling professional hair-care or beauty products to salons, • Established relationships with salon owners, managers, stylists, or beauty professionals, • Strong understanding of the professional salon market, • Demonstrated ability to acquire new accounts and develop existing relationships, • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, • Highly motivated, polished, and entrepreneurial, • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required, • Ability to travel throughout The Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn, • Comfortable managing an independent sales territory RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop new salon accounts throughout the assigned territory, • Present the Kismera INC collection to salon owners and professionals, • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, • Grow existing accounts and identify new business opportunities, • Represent the Kismera INC brand with professionalism and integrity, • Monitor market trends and competitive activity, • Manage sales activity, follow-ups, and account development independently WHY KISAMERA INC This is an opportunity to represent a distinctive professional hair-care brand while developing a valuable network of salon relationships throughout New York.
