Position Overview Reporting to the Account Receivable/Office Manager, the Order Processing Specialist is an integral part in customer success and organizational strength of our company. The Order Processing Specialist processes orders, addresses order-related issues and responds to our customers’ needs as it relates to orders. Qualified candidates will be organized, detail oriented, have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task, and a friendly demeanor. This is a full-time position based out of the corporate office. Responsibilities • Process sales orders and assist in managing order process workflow between manufacturers and customers., • Print, review, and import new EDI purchase orders daily., • Enter new customers, manufacturers, and items in the order processing system (MCS)., • Work closely with the accounts-receivable (A/R) team to ensure data is accurately reflected in MCS and provide A/R back up and support as needed., • Maintain manufacture pricing in order processing system (MCS)., • Document completion, upload, and data entry., • Communicate with customers and sales managers, respond promptly to inquiries and maintain records of customer interactions., • Support customer relationships, identify customer needs, address issues and help provide solutions when necessary., • Assist with special projects in collaboration with other departments., • Minimum High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of relevant experience in an office environment in an administrative role, data entry, and/or customer support., • Experience, training, and/or coursework in Microsoft Office 365 (Basic to Intermediate Excel skills a plus), • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)., • Demonstrated experience and attention to detail in data entry., • Experience working with cross-functional teams., • Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools/applications., • A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives, • Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment., • Prior industry experience and knowledge of DOT Foods and MCS tools a plus.
