Job Description Join our Data Science team as an Analytics Product Engineer, where you’ll own stakeholder-facing analytics and reporting in a modern insurance data environment. This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and product. Balancing rapid response to real operational questions with the delivery of durable, high-trust analytics products. What You’ll Do • Serve as a trusted analytics partner to business stakeholders, translating ambiguous questions into pragmatic, timely insights while exercising sound judgment about when prototypes should evolve into durable, decision-ready reporting., • Build analytics on a modern data stack, developing curated datasets in Snowflake and delivering high-impact BI through Power BI. Ensuring insights are fully traceable from source to dashboard., • Own analytics products end to end, from design through delivery, ensuring dashboards and reports are intuitive, reconciled, well-documented, and trusted in high-visibility operational and strategic decisions. What We’re Looking For • Insurance or Financial Services Experience. A solid understanding of insurance business concepts and how they translate into reliable, decision-ready analytics and reporting., • Snowflake & Power BI Expertise (Required). Hands-on experience building analytics solutions on Snowflake. Deep experience delivering polished, stakeholder-facing dashboards in Power BI. Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) certification required or equivalent demonstrated mastery of Power BI semantic modeling, DAX, and performance best practices., • Analytics Engineering & Judgment. Proficiency in SQL and Python within modern analytics environments, paired with strong judgment around when to move quickly versus when deeper validation is required., • Comfort with Ambiguity & Clear Communication. Ability to operate in imperfect data environments and clearly communicate assumptions, limitations, and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences. Nice to Have • Exposure to Databricks for ad-hoc analytics or analytics engineering workloads, including familiarity with Delta Lake concepts; Databricks Data Analyst Associate certification or equivalent experience is a plus, • Prior ownership of a reporting or analytics domain within insurance or financial services, • Background outside of data or analytics after transitioning into the field Experience Level Mid-level (approximately 4–6 years in Analytics, BI, or Data roles). Location & Work Model • This role is based in Iselin, NJ and requires regular in-person presence., • Candidates should expect to work on-site as part of a highly collaborative Data Science and business partnership environment.
