Job Description Power-Flo Technologies is now hiring a full-time warehouse associate to join our New Hyde Park team. We are the premier provider of supplies, services, and solutions- housing electrical, HVAC, and plumbing supplies. Full-Time. Monday - Friday. 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM. Salary Range: $16.50 - $20/hour Benefits: • Medical, Dental and Vision plans, • PTO Program, • Paid Holidays, • 401K Key Responsibilities : • Perform basic warehouse work to include, removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving (as needed), organizing etc., • Pull and stage orders for shipment, • Organize Inventory, • Cycle Count, • Maintain a clean Driver's License to operate company vehicles, • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and occasionally operate delivery vehicle (box trucks and vans), • Current, valid, and clean NYS driver’s license (7 years' clean driving record) to operate company vehicles as needed (no CDL required), • 1+ years of warehouse experience required, • Experience with cycle counting, consolidation, and inventory management., • Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification, • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds, • Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies, • Ability to work well independently and on a team, have a great attitude, and be willing to learn, • Ability to communicate in verbal and written from with functional English skills, • Excellent organizational and time management skills, • Forklift experience a plus, • Experience with UPS, DHL, and/or FedEx a plus, • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Job Description Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, pull and re-allocate material off stock shelves using scan gun, unload delivery trucks (ability to lift 30-40 lbs.), stores materials and prepares product for shipment; Domestic and International. Experience with UPS, FedEx and DHL online portals a plus. Prepares single and consolidated shipments. Prepares shipment documentation; i.e. Shippers Letter of Instruction and Straight Bill of Lading. Arrange for Freight Forwarder pick up. Repackage product to insure preservation, if necessary. Performs other warehouse duties and general maintenance functions, as assigned. Job DescriptionResponsibilities: Shipping: • Check ready orders with CSR that are due for pickup for the day, • Consolidate BOL(s), PL & CI for all the planned shipments, • Schedule the pickup dates & times with the respective forwarders, • Schedule warehouse team to prepare outgoing shipments based on the schedule, • Follow up with CSR on the pickup status of all the shipments, • Assist CSR with UPS/FedEx Labels & documentation, • Confirm all pickups for the day are complete Receiving:, • Schedule incoming shipments with warehouse based on availability & space (NY & CT) Consolidate PLs & COCs for the goods to be received & inspected & hand it to purchasing, • Perform receiving tasks on goods & track partial deliveries (FedEx/DHL/UPS), • Pick products for inspection as required and perform release & notify production, • Add incoming material into inventory lists, • Work with procurement & production departments on high priority shipments to move them first Excellent computer skills Bilingual – English / Spanish Certified Forklift/Power-stack operator.
