This role may also come into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. POSITION SUMMARY: The Food Service Aide performs a variety of food service functions in maintaining clean and sanitary conditions of food service areas, facilities and equipment. He/she may also assist in some aspects of food preparation.
