Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized role is available for an Imaging - Cath Lab Technician to support cardiac care procedures with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities: • Prepare sterile trays and organize specific equipment for each cardiac procedure., • Assist in patient preparation including EKG lead placement, Betadine scrubbing, and draping., • Support the cardiac catheterization nurse with patient monitoring setup., • Calibrate and test transducers to ensure accurate pressure readings., • Provide real-time assistance to physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, atherectomy, and stent placements., • Operate imaging equipment including power injectors and manage digital cine technologies., • Ensure proper storage and retrieval of patient images and hemodynamic data., • Assist with emergency patient support measures as needed., • Aid in removal of procedural sheaths and insertion of vascular closure devices., • Manage inventory control for critical supplies., • Maintain, calibrate, and periodically evaluate diagnostic and technical equipment., • Proven experience in a Cath Lab environment, specifically with cardiac catheterization-related procedures., • Ability to lift at least 40 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, and stand for extended periods., • Strong understanding of sterile techniques and digital imaging protocols., • Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse patient populations., • Capacity to act quickly and efficiently during emergencies.
