Job Description Industrial Construction Manager | Heavy Industrial Equipment Installation | Power, Water, Data Center, LNG, Oil & Gas Experience Required | $110,000 to $130,000 + Fantastic Benefits An established engineering and manufacturing organization is seeking an Industrial Construction Manager to oversee field execution and documentation control for large-scale, custom-engineered equipment and systems installed in critical energy and infrastructure facilities. This role is field-focused and documentation-intensive, supporting complex industrial projects from pre-construction planning through installation, commissioning support, and closeout. This position operates at active job sites and requires direct coordination with EPC contractors, owners, inspectors, and internal engineering and fabrication teams. The focus is disciplined execution, code compliance, schedule control, and structured documentation management. Key Responsibilities • Lead and support field installation of large industrial equipment and engineered systems in heavy industrial environments, • Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, codes, specifications, and quality standards, • Serve as the on-site technical representative coordinating with owners, EPC firms, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders, • Conduct site visits, field inspections, and constructability reviews to verify progress and adherence to drawings and installation procedures, • Manage RFIs, submittals, schedules, milestones, and deliverables to maintain on-time project execution, • Control and maintain project documentation, including installation records, compliance reports, turnover packages, and closeout documentation, • Support commissioning efforts and assist leadership and sales teams with technical presentations and installation narratives as required Required Qualifications • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency, • Strong written and verbal communication skills with disciplined documentation practices, • Minimum five years of experience supporting industrial construction and equipment installation in power generation, water/wastewater, data centers, LNG, oil and gas, or similar heavy industrial environments, • Working knowledge of ASME, B31.1, AWS, AISC, OSHA, and related industrial and construction standards, • Demonstrated ability to review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international project sites, • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred; equivalent industry experience considered This role is suited for professionals with hands-on industrial field experience who are methodical, technically grounded, and effective in multi-party project environments.
