Position Overview As Store Manager, you'll lead our Montvale location team in delivering exceptional service while maintaining operational excellence. You'll be responsible for creating a positive work environment, managing staff, driving sales growth, and ensuring our high standards of pet care and customer service are consistently met. Key Responsibilities * Lead and develop a high-performing team through effective training, coaching, and mentorship * Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and store presentation * Ensure exceptional pet parent experiences through personalized service and product expertise * Manage store financials, including cash handling, sales targets, and operational budgets * Implement and maintain company policies, procedures, and safety standards * Build strong relationships with customers and the Montvale community * Coordinate with groomers and retail staff to maintain smooth operations Required Qualifications * Ability to attend a mandatory 5-day immersive training at our Woof Gang Bakery headquarters in Orlando, FL (travel/meal expenses paid by owner) * Minimum 1 year of experience managing teams of 4 or more employees * 6+ months experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in pet retail * Strong leadership and team-building abilities * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Proven track record in retail operations and sales * Passion for pets and pet care * Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays * Physical ability to move merchandise, stand for extended periods, and assist with store maintenance What Sets You Apart * Previous pet retail or grooming industry experience * Knowledge of pet nutrition and care products * Experience in inventory management and visual merchandising * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities * Proven success in driving sales and team performance Benefits * Competitive compensation package * Professional development opportunities * Employee discounts on products and services * Growth potential within a rapidly expanding company * Opportunity to work in a fun, pet-friendly environment * Equal Opportunity Employer Woof Gang Bakery Montvale is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
