Job Description Nurse Supervisor (LPN/RN) – ID Care Location: East Brunswick, NJ (Covering East Brunswick, Oakhurst, Hamilton and Old Bridge locations) Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt About the Role ID Care is seeking a dedicated Nurse Supervisor to lead our clinical operations and ensure the highest standards of patient care. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between clinical excellence and operational efficiency, supervising a multidisciplinary team while collaborating closely with physicians and the Nurse Manager. Key Responsibilities ● Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate daily tasks for clinical staff. Manage scheduling, performance evaluations, and foster a positive, patient-focused culture. ● Clinical Oversight: Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA-waived testing standards. Oversee clinical workflows, documentation accuracy, and infection control protocols. ● Operations Management: Monitor clinical supplies/inventory, troubleshoot escalated patient concerns, and ensure all medical equipment is maintained and emergency-ready. ● Direct Patient Care: Provide hands-on clinical support as needed, including injections, triage, specimen handling (venipuncture, etc.), and emergency first aid. ● Training & Development: Lead the orientation of new clinical hires and provide ongoing training on EMR upgrades and new clinical procedures. Qualifications & Requirements ● Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of LPN/RN experience, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a clinical setting. ● Education: Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program. ● Licensure: Active State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license. ● Certification: Current BLS certification. ● Skills: Strong proficiency in nursing principles, employee development, and EMR software. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-level quality assurance. Physical Requirements ● Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. ● Frequent exposure to conditions common to a clinic setting (communicable diseases, biohazards).
