THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a Growth & Partnerships Intern to support EduLink's continued expansion within the international education market. This role sits at the intersection of business development, partnerships, marketing, client acquisition, and growth strategy. You will work closely with our team to identify new growth opportunities, develop relationships with prospective students and families, explore partnership channels, support marketing initiatives, and contribute to EduLink's broader business development strategy. This is not a traditional administrative internship. You will gain direct exposure to how an international education consulting business acquires clients, develops markets, builds partnerships, manages customer relationships, and scales its operations. The role is particularly well suited for candidates interested in entrepreneurship, consulting, growth, international education, marketing, sales strategy, and business development. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON Depending on your strengths and interests, responsibilities may include: Identify and develop new prospective student and family opportunities Build relationships with Chinese-speaking students, families, communities, and referral networks Research new customer segments, markets, universities, communities, and partnership opportunities Support business development and client acquisition initiatives Communicate with prospective clients to understand their education and career needs Introduce relevant EduLink services and programs to qualified prospective clients Develop and maintain prospective client and partnership pipelines Support lead qualification, relationship management, and follow-up strategy Conduct market and competitor research Support partnership development with student organizations, education communities, institutions, and other potential partners Contribute to customer acquisition and market-entry strategies Assist with WeChat, Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn, and other digital growth initiatives Support content distribution, community development, and social media marketing Help develop referral, partnership, and community-based growth channels Track outreach performance, conversion trends, and business development opportunities Support CRM organization and pipeline management Participate in growth experiments across digital marketing, content, partnerships, referrals, and community channels Collaborate with senior team members on new business initiatives and expansion opportunities Strong performers may gradually take ownership of specific markets, partnership channels, client segments, or growth initiatives. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We care more about initiative, communication ability, relationship-building skills, and commercial instinct than a specific academic major. Strong candidates are proactive, resourceful, persuasive, organized, and comfortable communicating with new people. You should be interested in understanding how a professional services business grows and comfortable taking ownership of your work in a remote environment. QUALIFICATIONS Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate professionally in English Comfortable communicating with Chinese-speaking students and families Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and capable of working independently Strong sense of ownership and accountability Interest in business development, consulting, marketing, sales strategy, entrepreneurship, or international education Comfortable learning new tools, platforms, and business processes Strong organizational and follow-up skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS The following are helpful but not required: Experience in business development, marketing, consulting, sales, or client-facing roles Familiarity with the U.S. university admissions or international education market Understanding of Chinese students and families studying or planning to study in the United States Experience with WeChat, Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn, or other social platforms Experience with student organizations, university communities, or international student networks Experience with CRM systems or lead management Existing community, campus, education, or professional networks Interest in entrepreneurship or building businesses Experience studying or working in the United States Undergraduate students, graduate students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply. COMPENSATION This opportunity includes a performance-based commission structure with uncapped earning potential. Candidates who successfully contribute to eligible client acquisition, business development, or revenue-generating opportunities may receive commission based on applicable program terms. There is no traditional fixed base salary associated with the internship structure. Compensation arrangements will be administered in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. High-performing team members may have the opportunity to take on expanded responsibilities and access additional compensation opportunities as the relationship develops.
