Job Description Hosokawa provides size reduction systems and powder processing solutions for chemical, pharmaceutical, food, mineral, plastics, and cosmetic applications. Throughout our history, we have led the industry in coarse to ultra-fine grinding, classification, mixing, drying, containment, compaction, and analytical equipment The Engineering Internship supports the Aftermarket Services team by assisting with inventory management, documentation, and service operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to industrial equipment, service workflows, and technical support activities related to powder processing systems. Essential Duties: • Support inventory organization, including scanning, labeling, and tracking parts and materials, • Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and data entry to ensure accuracy within internal systems, • Maintain and organize technical documentation, service records, and filing systems, • Provide operational support to Field Service Engineers and Technicians, including preparation of tools, parts, and job materials, • Assist in staging and coordinating equipment, parts, and service orders for field assignments, • Support production and service teams with basic shop floor tasks and material movement, • Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to inventory control and workflow efficiency, • Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including proper use of PPEBasic Qualifications:, • Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline) or a technical/trade program, • 0–1 year of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or technical environment (internship or coursework acceptable), • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)Preferred Qualifications:, • Exposure to inventory systems, ERP/MRP systems, or warehouse processes, • Experience supporting technical teams, maintenance, or service operations, • Interest in field service, manufacturing, or industrial equipment environmentsPhysical Requirements:, • Ability to move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance, • Ability to remain in a stationary position and/or move throughout office and shop floor environments $20.00-$22.00 Salaries/Rates will vary and may be above or below this rate commensurate with several factors including experience, education, training, location, and merit.
