About You Summary • The Financial Systems Analyst serves as a liaison between the business, Finance and Tech teams to support and maintain the effective running of financial systems. You will play an important role in analyzing financial data, financial systems and their integration within various business processes., • You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience using and supporting Oracle EBS, are comfortable working with other financial systems, proficient with Microsoft 365 products and have a business or accounting background., • You have strong analytical, technical and financial knowledge and have good problem-solving skills., • Process improvement focused and a change agent., • Strive to achieve set goals, accept direction, offer and receive feedback in a constructive manner., • Excellent customer service and communication skills. Essential Functions • Perform systems and data analysis, monitoring data flows between sub-systems and general ledgers, ensuring data accuracy and security., • Identify inefficiencies, recommend and implement best practice process and system improvements., • Administer and reconcile the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 ERP system feeds., • Review and reconcile daily and weekly sub-system transfers and 3rd party interfaces (Payroll, Cash & Sales, Pharmacy A/R, DSD, Treasury, Mainframe Accounts Receivable.), • Support the maintenance and issue resolution with all Oracle Finance users (General Ledger, Accounts Payable and OCR vendor invoice management system, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Sales Point of Sale system, Fixed Assets)., • Support the Payment Request Form (PRF) process and automated bank reconciliation systems., • Support users in troubleshooting and resolving system and process related issues., • Perform system testing during upgrades and projects, while maintaining process documentation and operating procedure for audits and training., • Be an effective contributor to the Financial Systems Support team and work closely with various Wakefern teams, Wakefern Tech, Coop Members, Accounting and Finance associates., • Collaborate effectively with Finance and Tech teams to ensure financial systems transactions for the members, Wakefern and its subsidiaries are running smoothly, ensuring daily, weekly and period end close objectives are supported., • Log systems support issues, drive the resolution and recommend optimal controls and compliance., • Develop and maintain an expert level of functional knowledge of the financial systems and applications. Additional Functions • Perform appropriate master data setup to enable accurate financial postings for business operations and system integrations., • Review/build controls for transactions to enhance processing accuracy and accountability., • Provide training and guidance to financial users on systems functionality and processes., • Work with the Audit team for the SOC1 compliance audit for controls., • Create process documents, policies, procedures and controls. Provide management with recommendations for improving all accounting processes., • Assist in vendor setup and check printing as needed, • Actively participate in system upgrades and enhancements, projects and new system/process implementations; translate business requirements to system functional requirements to ensure desired results., • Create and execute test scripts, track and communicate test plans, test results and unresolved problems; follow through until successful retest results., • Ensure confidentiality of Member/Wakefern data., • Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as needed. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree – Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems concentration., • Minimum 3-year experience with system enhancement processes, project implementation and testing with Oracle and/or SAP., • Strong technical skills in working with and understanding systems, files structures and databases., • Excellent analytical, task management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions., • Good communication skills, • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative, fast-paced environment., • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices., • Ability to work with all levels of the organization and must be able to respectfully hold others accountable to policies and procedures., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products - Excel, Outlook, Teams, Power BI, Power Query and database management tools., • Experience in SAP a plus. Working Conditions & Physical Demands • Ability to work on a varied, flexible schedule to meet business demands, including off shift support in the event of critical production issues and project go-live., • Ability to monitor computer screens for long periods of time., • Ability to work a hybrid schedule as established by the division (4 days on-site, 1 day remote) Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $63,000 to $80,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations.
