Job Description Journeyman Carpenter Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of carpentry, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Journeyman Carpenter will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, as well as installing and repairing structures and fixtures. A high level of precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential for this role. Responsibilities: * Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard. * Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials. * Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans. * Work with a variety of hand and power tools. * Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures. * Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. * Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a carpenter (10+ years preferred) * Proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter. * Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods. * Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. * Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. * Excellent physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus. Job Description We are looking for a Dock Builder/Carpenter to join our team! Candidates must have experience in pile driving, sheet piling and construction of seawalls. Must be skilled working around cranes installing steel sheet piles, pipe piles and working from barges and cranes. Must be able to apply great attention to detail, follow all safety precautions and possess good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Duties include: • Measuring and marking pile., • Use burning torch to cut pile., • Using tools to dig, pry, hammer and shovel., • Carry, load, unload and stack material., • Hook and rig material and equipment for movement by crane.
