Incident, Problem & Change Management • Oversee incident resolution and service request fulfillment, ensuring timely closure and quality outcomes., • Collaborate with infrastructure and global IT teams to address recurring issues through problem management., • Participate in change management reviews to minimize operational risks., • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with ITIL and client-specific standards. 5. Process Improvement & Scheduled Site Visits • Develop and maintain standardized deskside support processes and documentation across global teams., • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, increase first-time fix rates, and improve user satisfaction., • Manage and enhance the Scheduled Site Visit program to proactively monitor site performance, ensure infrastructure readiness, and prevent potential service interruptions., • Analyze visit data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. 6. Governance, Communication & Stakeholder Management • Act as the primary liaison between the USA-based client’s IT leadership and global support teams., • Participate in ongoing governance and operational meetings to review service delivery, SLAs, and improvement plans., • Provide transparent, data-driven communication and reporting to all stakeholders., • Maintain governance documentation, performance dashboards, and quarterly business review (QBR) materials., • Build and sustain strong client relationships through consistent communication and service alignment., • Project & Technology Support., • Support global IT initiatives such as hardware refresh projects, software deployments, and office relocations., • Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery. Job Description The role defines, implements, and maintains the networking, unified communications, and cloud networking infrastructure of the IEEE. It utilizes network knowledge, skills, and expertise to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of IEEE information systems. This position provides leadership and focus for the architecture, integration, development, and support of the IEEE voice, video, data, and cloud network environment. It also focuses on automating network provisioning and management, and serves as the subject matter expert for layers 1-5 of the OSI model. The Role The Project Manager will lead major projects, develop client relationships and deliver projects per client needs and budgets. This role has direct oversite and control of all project activities. The position requires high-level client service and establishing long-term partnerships. Accountability Project Operations • Manages overall safety of personnel on a project during construction activities., • Enforces safety policies and procedures. Reviews clients specific safety procedures and develops a site-specific manual to be utilized. Oversees and ensures weekly safety meetings are conducted and documented in the field., • Monitors coordination and design efforts for required scope of work., • Manages labor goals and affirmative action plans, awareness of labor relations with unions regarding jurisdiction over a project., • Reviews design documents prior to field installation., • Ensures implementation of B&S QA/QC program., • Identifies and communicates opportunities for pre-fabrication on the project; reviews union requirements for fabrication and compliance; monitors progress on, and coordinates installation of prefabricated sections in the field. Change Order Tracking • Coordinates and monitors cost events pricing,, • Communicates monthly billings with accounting. Scheduling and Labor Tracking • Generates, updates, and maintains the overall construction schedule., • Reviews productivity control plan for fab shop and field activities and implements metrics., • Reviews purchasing status and expediting equipment., • Supervises and schedules all subcontract work under their direction and works with other trades impacted by it., • Monitors overall job performance by tracking labor and materials costs timely and adjusts schedules and performance as necessary to achieve budgeted goals., • Coordinates staffing on construction projects., • Maintains client relations and addresses/resolves issues that come up., • Processes and reviews projects invoicing with owner and subcontractors., • Identities problem areas early and develop contingency plans for the successful delivery of the project and schedule. Qualifications: Skills • Solid understanding of construction means and methods associated with the renovation and construction of commercial and industrial buildings., • Strong computer and technology skills include project management software, Microsoft Outlook, smart phones, and other software used in the construction industry., • The ability to decipher various project schedule formats and impacts on mechanical work, working knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical scopes of work., • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time. Education and Experience • Bachelors Degree preferred., • Experience in construction, sales or business development a plus., • Successful management of large and complex projects for sophisticated clients healthcare, laboratory, infrastructure, higher education, industrial or R&D facilities is preferred., • Lean Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) experience a plus. To build a company that always keeps its promises. Summary: The Installation Technician Level 4 will be required to perform all intermediate and advanced installation work activities. The Installation Technician Level 4 should have a clear understanding of all Installation and Quality Standards contained in GR-1275 and NSTD119 Standards as well as specific CBMA and customer local requirements. Duties and Responsibilities: ● Work with minimum supervision and be certified in Skill levels 1, 2 and 3. ● Input job status, issues and requests and all-expense-related information into the Project Management platform. ● Reconcile materials for sales order using web-based inventory control forms. ● Understand the scope of work and customer expectations as well as the profitability objectives and timeframes. ● Control all on-site aspects of the job and work closely with the Installation Supervisor or Project Manager to ensure customer satisfaction. ● Understand the scope of work of the job as well as the efficiency expectations given by the Installation Supervisor or Project Manager. ● Interface directly with the Installation Supervisor or Project Manager and Engineering Department to resolve any order issues. Correct job specifications, drawings, documentation and record all changes in the Project Management platform. ● Maintain tools assigned to the job as well as monitor tool calibration requirements. ● Perform hardware testing, such as power verification, device provisioning and system tests. ● Responsible for all work meeting all customer standards. ● Meet or exceed customer and internal documented acceptable levels of quality. Credentials and Experience: ● Requires minimum of 5 years of Data Center/PoP/CO installation experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ● Lead Installation Technician should have minimum 5 years Data Center/PoP/CO installation experience. ● Should possess a good mechanical aptitude. ● Should possess a good knowledge of basic power tools. ● Should have the ability to adapt to various work environments. ● Should have good knowledge of optical routing equipment installations. ● Should have good knowledge of fiber optic cable installation & testing practices. ● Should have good knowledge of AC/DC power. ● Should have good knowledge of infrastructure installation work (equipment racks, cable racks and fiber duct etc.). Special Requirements ● Due to the nature of our Customers’ requirements, work schedules and hours of operation are dynamic. The Lead Technician must be able to adjust to varying work schedules which may include all work shifts. ● Travel up to 100%. Installers may be expected to travel periodically to work locations outside of commutable area.
