Title: Instructor - NJSLA Math - Talent Search Department: TRiO Reports To: Director TRIO Programs Position Type: Staff Position Summary: NJSLA Math Instructor for middle and high school students. Essential Functions: • To conduct an integrated academic Math NJSLA Prep course, teach students NJSLA test strategies., • Conduct teaching and instructional activities using educational equipment, manipulatives, props and other learning aids., • Prepare and submit a course outline prior to the start of the class., • Assist with the planning, instruction and evaluation of tutoring and problem solving activities., • Complete paperwork associated with classroom and project management., • Make recommendations on students' strength and needs., • Report student learning and behavioral issues to the appropriate staff personnel., • Assist with the training and evaluation of Teacher Assistants., • Required to attend training and all meetings.
