    Position Title: Customs Entry Writer Location: New Brunswick, NJ 08901 Job Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Customs Entry Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing customs documentation to ensure the timely and compliant importation of goods. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, import procedures, tariff classifications, and customs brokerage operations. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, review, and submit customs entry documentation for imported shipments., • Classify products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)., • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and other government agency requirements., • Verify shipping documents, commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading for accuracy., • Coordinate with importers, freight forwarders, carriers, and government agencies to resolve shipment issues., • Monitor shipment clearance status and address customs holds, exams, or requests for additional information., • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory requirements., • Assist with post-entry activities, audits, and corrections as required., • Stay informed on changes in customs regulations and trade compliance requirements. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred., • Minimum of 1–3 years of customs brokerage, import operations, or customs entry writing experience., • Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, and import documentation requirements., • Experience using customs brokerage software and ACE filing systems preferred., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy., • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills., • Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with government agency regulations such as FDA, USDA, EPA, FCC, or DOT., • Knowledge of international trade and logistics operations. MZ and MG Transportation LLC is seeking enthusiastic, motivated Class A CDL drivers based out of Newark, NJ for the Amazon Freight Partner Program. As a CDL Driver, you will deliver, using Amazon Equipment and technology, on daily, local routes that have you home after each shift. Our deliveries vary from 100% no touch freight (drop and hook only) to live loads. These local routes are roughly 300-500 miles round trip. You will not be employed by Amazon, instead, you will be working directly for a local transportation company that partners with Amazon. If you have a valid CDL A license, are at least 21 years of age with a clean driving record, then we want you to apply now. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for handling the cannabis plant(s) after harvest by trimming the plant(s) with efficiency while maintaining the quality/integrity of the plant in order to maximize the harvest for retail/wholesale sales. This role offers an engaging environment where hands-on work, mechanical skills, and attention to detail come together to create a rewarding career in the cannabis industry. Duties Trim Room: • Must confirm that there is a written plant weight on each tag., • Mark trimmer column with designated trimmer number., • Hand trimming flower in preparation for lab testing, packaging and curing using shears, scissors, hands, etc., • Responsible for maintaining quality product while reaching daily quotas., • Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse while performing trimmings to avoid contaminating product., • Take instructions and follow direction as delegated by managers to complete weekly team quota., • Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department as needed an/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to, helping with small tasks, cleaning and/or moving supplies and equipment and/or helping the packaging department or working at other locations as needed., • Able to produce min of 2 lbs. per day (113.4 grams per hour) Performs other related duties as assigned such as but not limited to: Packaging Room: • Assist with packaging when needed Pre-Roll Room: • Assist with making pre-rolls when needed Qualifications • Ability to work independently and in a group., • Strong work ethic: ability to adapt to adjusting workload and priority levels., • Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity., • Basic weights and measurement skills; ability to operate a scale., • Ability to sit and focus for long periods of time., • Operate with integrity and honesty., • Excellent communication skills., • Exceptional attention to detail, • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, • Ability to adhere to safety requirements., • Comfortable performing heavy lifting regularly in indoor farm settings This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the cannabis industry.
