Job Description Website: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Congregational Administrator to support the financial, administrative, and communication needs of our congregation. This role is central to daily operations and works closely with clergy, staff, volunteers, and committees in a mission-driven environment. ● Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping and financial reporting using QuickBooks Online Processing deposits, accounts payable, and pledge tracking Preparing weekly worship materials and announcements Maintaining membership records, directories, and mailings Supporting stewardship, fundraising, and building use Managing calendars, office systems, and general inquiries Handling confidential information with discretion Working with the Breeze church management system to maintain accurate records and communications ● Qualifications: Administrative and/or bookkeeping experience (nonprofit or church setting preferred) Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace Experience or willingness to learn Breeze Church Management System Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers To apply: Please submit a resume to Company DescriptionMission Statement: The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook is a religious community that seeks diversity, individual spiritual growth, and social and economic justice.
