Electronic images and reports are transmitted digitally via Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS); this eliminates the need to manually file, retrieve, or transport films., • Practice accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity., • Practice safety measures in radiography, radiation safety, infection control and environment of care., • Apply the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice., • Demonstrate a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and even temperament when dealing with patients, families and co-workers, using tact, sensitivity, sound judgment and professional attitudes., • Communicate with customers (e.g., veterans, family members, and the general public), co-workers and supervisors in a courteous, tactful, friendly and cooperative manner., • Adhere to all facility and service-level policies and procedures., • Technologists follow all medical center policies including infection control policies., • Technologists respond to inquiries related to patient care in a timely manner., • Technologists write notes in the medical record as needed to document any case that is delayed. QUALIFICATIONS Staff/Facility License: Contractor's personnel shall be licensed to practice Radiologic Technology in a state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses. Contractor Radiologic Technologist(s) who have current, full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.
