SUMMARY The Corporate Legal Assistant provides essential administrative and legal support to the Chief Affairs Officer and Chief officers team needed. This role focuses on contract administration, document review, and recordkeeping, while also assisting with scheduling, communications, and general department support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to build experience in corporate legal and contract processes. Key Responsibilities: Legal & Contract Support • Prepare and review contracts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards before routing for approval., • Provide proactive support, management and tracking of contractual documentation, action items and critical data., • Maintain a central repository of executed agreements and track contract terms, renewals, and expirations., • Assist with drafting, proofreading, and redlining legal documents and agreements., • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely execution of agreements., • Proactively identify and communicate potential non-compliance issues and other challenges that may impact the company adversely., • Support executives with administrative tasks of confidential nature requiring initiative and judgement necessary for the operation of the company., • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives., • Draft and prepare meeting agendas and accurately document board meeting minutes., • Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and meeting materials., • Process expense reports for executives., • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal certificate a plus., • Experience with various contracts, legal documents, and corporate recordkeeping., • Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and organizational skills., • Exceptional use of independent judgement and creativity in resolving contract and process improvement issues., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, • Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
