LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to support attorneys with a variety of corporate and business law matters. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys working on entity formation and corporate governance documentation from start to finish. Responsibilities • Assist attorneys with corporate and LLC formations and related filings, • Prepare and maintain organizational documents, including:, • Minutes and corporate records, • Stock certificates and bylaws, • Shareholder agreements and LLC operating agreements, • Handle foreign entity registrations across multiple jurisdictions, • Conduct legal and regulatory research, including:, • Secretary of State filings, • North Carolina statutes and applicable governing laws, • Draft a variety of legal and business documents, including:, • Correspondence and memoranda, • Agreements and closing statements, • Opinion letters, affidavits, indemnities, assumed name certificates, and related documentation, • Monitor and follow up on filings and required actions to ensure timely completion and compliance, • Support attorneys with ongoing corporate maintenance and transactional needs Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or, • Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies (ABA-approved program) plus 3–5 years of paralegal experience, • Strong preference for candidates with corporate or business law experience, • Active North Carolina Notary Public commission, or ability to obtain one, • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines, • Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package along with a comprehensive benefits program, which may include: • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Paid time off and holidays, • Retirement savings plan options, • Professional development and growth opportunities Interested candidates should apply immediately for consideration.
