We are currently looking for a professional, motivated Maintenance Technician to support our continued growth in our Sparks, NV facility! Job Summary Responsible for performing and managing preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs on warehouse material handling equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, OB sorters, print-and-apply labelers, and other facility equipment. Ensures equipment reliability, safety compliance, and minimal downtime in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities • Manage and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all forklift fleets (electric, propane, etc.), conveyor systems, OB sorters, and print-and-apply labeling equipment., • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on forklifts, conveyors, sorters, and related systems., • Perform routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements to maintain equipment per manufacturer guidelines and safety standards., • Handle general warehouse maintenance and repairs, including facility equipment, docks, doors, and minor building repairs as needed., • Document all maintenance activities, work orders, and PMs using maintenance logs; track parts inventory and usage., • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, including powered industrial truck (forklift) maintenance standards., • Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime and respond to urgent equipment issues., • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse or industrial maintenance, with specific focus on material handling equipment., • Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on forklifts (electric and/or internal combustion engines)., • Strong experience with conveyor systems (belt tracking, rollers, drives, motors, and alignment)., • Familiarity with automated sorting equipment, OB sorters, and print-and-apply labeling systems (print engines, applicators, sensors, and tamp mechanisms) is highly preferred., • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), hydraulic, and pneumatic systems., • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and equipment diagrams., • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and multimeters., • Forklift technician certification or manufacturer-specific training (e.g., for common brands like Toyota, Crown, or Hyster)., • Experience with PLC troubleshooting or basic automation controls (a plus for sorters and conveyors)., • Welding, fabrication, or machining skills for minor repairs., • Knowledge of OSHA standards for powered industrial trucks and conveyor safety., • Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier lifts using assistance or equipment., • Comfort working in a warehouse environment (may include varying temperatures, noise, and heights via ladders/scissor lifts)., • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and walk for extended periods., • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including occasional overtime, weekends, or on-call for emergencies. · Competitive salary and monthly bonus · Paid days for charity participation · Opportunities to participate in committees related to company culture, environmental sustainability and charity work · Comprehensive benefits package · Career path planning and growth opportunities · Mountain Climber program Company DescriptionBoxout is a family-owned, national distributor of spa, massage, beauty, fitness, rehabilitation, chiropractic, and health, & wellness products.
