ACE exposure is linked to poor academic performance, poor health outcomes, and certain diseases. The Medical Department is the first line of defense to help detect health problems early. They do so by providing evidence-based, strength-based, trauma-informed, and child-centered approach to service delivery. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor, the Medical Assistant will assist the medical team in providing safe and knowledgeable medical assistance for youth in foster care and in residential settings. Responsible for general clerical tasks within the Medical Program as assigned by the supervisor.
