Job DescriptionDescription: Pine Hollow Club is looking for friendly, attentive Lifeguards to join our team for the upcoming club season. If you enjoy working outdoors, creating a safe and welcoming environment, and being part of a supportive team, we would love to meet you. Our lifeguards play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our members and their guests while maintaining a positive and enjoyable pool experience. This position supports daily pool operations and contributes to the high standards Pine Hollow Club is known for. What You’ll Do As a Lifeguard, you will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment for our members and their guests. Safety & Pool Oversight • Monitor pool areas at all times to ensure the safety of members and guests, • Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines in a professional and respectful manner, • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed, • Remain alert and focused during all assigned shifts Member Experience • Greet members and guests and maintain a friendly, approachable presence, • Answer questions and provide general assistance around the pool area, • Assist with opening and closing duties of the pool area, • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and surrounding areas, • Work closely with fellow lifeguards and club staff to ensure smooth daily operations, • Communicate clearly with management regarding any concerns or incidents, • Responsible, attentive, and safety-focused mindset, • Friendly and professional demeanor, • Strong communication and decision-making skills, • Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations, • Current Lifeguard Certification (required), • CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (required), • Seasonal employment aligned with the summer season (approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day), • Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, • Must be available for a minimum of 3 days per week Because of the seasonal nature of the role, this position is not eligible for paid time off or company benefits.
