Requirements: Experience: • Competitive swim background highly preferred but not required., • Previous experience teaching swim lessons is preferred but not required., • Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications preferred., • If not certified, the candidate must be able to meet the requirements to pass Lifeguard certification, including:, • Swimming at least 200 yards continuously., • Treading water for 2 minutes., • Strong communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues., • A caring, compassionate approach with children and adults., • Ability to work in the water for up to 5-hour periods., • A positive attitude and openness to feedback and coaching., • Must be able to commit to at least one year of employment., • Afternoon and weekend availability required.
