We are hiring a CAD Engineer / Drafter to help transform ambitious design concepts into production-ready realities. From retail windows and custom fixtures to pop-up spaces and branded interiors, you will work on highly visible projects for some of the world’s most recognizable brands. This is not repetitive drafting. Every project presents a new mix of materials, dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication challenges. You will take ownership of customer approval drawings, detailed shop drawings, and accurate 3D models that give programmers, fabricators, and installers what they need to execute with confidence. Responsibilities: • Translate design packs, renderings, and project quotes into clear customer approval drawings., • Develop precise shop drawings and production-ready 3D CAD models with the correct material thicknesses, tolerances, and fabrication details., • Collaborate with designers, project managers, programmers, fabricators, installers, and customers to solve technical issues before they reach the shop floor or jobsite., • Create documentation for custom retail fixtures, interiors, windows, displays, and temporary or permanent installations., • Improve drawing standards, file organization, construction methods, and workflows while delivering accurate work at a fast pace., • Take occasional local field measurements in Long Island or Manhattan to support successful production and installation. Qualifications: • Strong 3D modeling skills in Rhino, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or comparable CAD software., • The ability to produce clean, professional approval and shop drawings that are detailed enough for fabrication., • Practical knowledge of dimensioning, tolerances, material specifications, joinery, and construction methods., • Experience in millwork, cabinetry, retail fixtures, exhibits, experiential environments, architectural millwork, wall panels, or a similar build-to-print setting., • The speed and judgment to complete straightforward work efficiently without sacrificing precision., • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment., • A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate your modeling and drafting capabilities. What we are looking for: You have shipped AI-enabled software that real users rely on. Production AI systems: 6+ years experience designing, building, and operating workflows that use large language model (LLM) APIs, tool calling, retrieval, structured outputs, and agent workflows. Candidates should be able to describe systems they have shipped, how they evaluated them, what failed, and how they improved them based on real user feedback. Agent-system architecture: Experience designing workflows with clear agent boundaries, context and state management, permission-aware tool use, evaluation, observability, failure handling, and human escalation. Your turf is winning and growing relationship-driven commercial clients and referral partners near Farmingdale so they call 1-Tom first for service, maintenance, and emergency plumbing and drains. You’ll: • Identify, build, and strengthen relationships with commercial clients — restaurants, gyms, hotels, grocery/retail, senior living, and owner-run multifamily properties., • Build and activate referral partners — insurance agents/brokers, property managers, and other trades who consistently send jobs your way., • Run in-person meetings with decision-makers that actually move deals forward., • Schedule plumber walkthroughs with new relationships., • Attend networking and industry events, documenting, setting, and following through on follow-ups with new contacts., • Document all touchpoints in the CRM system. Position: First Lego League (FLL) Instructor/Coach will be to teach, guide & coach our various First Lego League teams, preparing them for their competition(s). The Teacher/Coach would promote creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while educating students on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) concepts. Programs/Teams are conducted for children ages 6-10 (FLL Explore) and 9-14 (FLL Challenge). This role requires internal collaboration and communication with Snapology leadership as well as representing the Snapology organization to parents & children with a high degree of professionalism. We are a brick-and-mortar as well as a mobile business that operates in schools, libraries, homes, etc. throughout Nassau County Long Island. Our new location is at the Samanea Mall in Westbury. Most shifts start at 3 PM after School, Preschool earlier. Role & Responsibilities: ● Lead groups of up to 10 students through FLL curriculum-guided activities ● Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment including Spike Prime and Spike Essential ● Instruct and demonstrate programming through Lego Spike Prime/Essential software ● Instruct and demonstrate designing and constructing a Lego Robot using Spike Prime/Essential ● Instruct and Guide students through the innovation project ● Reports to manager but is able to manage a team through FIRST Dashboard (will train) ● Adequately prepare for each program by reading the curriculum, watching training videos, and/or participating in face-to-face training sessions ● Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of Snapology ● Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use the information to adjust teaching strategies ● Participate in periodic Snapology training staff meetings, as required Qualifications: ● Must have experience with designing and building Lego Robots using Spike Prime/Essential/Mindstorms EV3 ● Must have experience with programming using Lego Spike Software (Scratch, Unity, Python, C++, Java a plus but not required) ● Coaching experience with a robotics team (FLL, FTC, FRC, WRO) a plus ● Criminal and Child Clearances must be current ● Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others ● Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing ● Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis Additional Notes: Availability for practice outside of regular class hours, including scheduled weekend scrimmages and tournaments.
