James Street Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Clinical Director to join our team. James Street Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. \n Job Summary: \n The Clinical Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the operating room and implements process initiatives to improve the efficiency of services and patient experience. The Clinical Director of James Street Surgery Center will report to the Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Clinical Director will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes. \n Responsibilities \n\n • Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growth\n, • Assume responsibility for budgeting and resourcing\n, • Plan and oversee all patient care or administrative operations and programs\n, • Recruit employees to ensure the department is staffed with qualified personnel\n, • Assign cases and create schedules for all employees\n, • Coordinate and supervise staff, providing constructive feedback\n, • Provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development\n, • Evaluate performance and discipline employees when necessary\n, • Proven experience as a clinical director or other managerial position\n, • Experience in clinical supervision and program management\n, • Solid understanding of budgeting, resourcing, and performance evaluation procedures\n, • Excellent knowledge of standards (e.g., ISO) and regulations for the clinical field\n, • Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g., patient management software)\n, • Excellent communication and people skills\n, • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills\n, • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.\n, • Currently licensed in the state. \n, • CPR required, advanced life support certification required. \n, • At least two years operating room/critical care experience. \n, • At least two years of supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area. \n, • Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. \n, • Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance\n, • Paid time off (vacation & sick leave) – Starting PTO accrual is 15 days per year.\n, • 401k retirement plan\n, • Paid holidays \n, • Health savings accounts, healthcare & dependent flexible spending accounts\n, • Employee Assistance program, Employee discount program\n \n USPI is committed to, and proud of our inclusive culture.
