This is a Monday through Friday opportunity offering comprehensive benefits. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive assessments and physical exams focused on chronic and acute pain conditions, • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physician, • Perform and assist with interventional procedures (e.g., trigger point injections, joint injections, nerve blocks – based on state scope of practice), • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (e.g., imaging, labs), • Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed, • Educate patients on pain management options, medications, procedures, and preventive care, • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, behavioral health, and pharmacy, • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in compliance with state and federal laws, • Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR system, • Current and valid Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in the state of practice, • Graduation from an accredited PA program, • NCCPA certification (required), • DEA license with Schedule II-V prescribing authority (or ability to obtain), • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or related field preferred, • Strong knowledge of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic pain management modalities, • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
