We focus on providing energy engineering and MEP contracting support for decarbonization initiatives. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager in our Woodbridge, N.J. facility to lead and shape the marketing efforts for our utility programs and the company overall. The ideal candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive strategic marketing plan to enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support revenue growth. This leadership role requires a creative thinker with strong management capabilities and a proven track record in marketing execution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of aligning execution with business objectives, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients, executives, sales, and operational teams. Essential Job Functions • Continuous Improvement & Reporting: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities by sharing and tracking current market trends and research and using data-driven insights to optimize strategies., • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and industry stakeholders to enhance marketing impact and drive program success. Create overall blueprint and drive the execution of client projects., • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with sales, operations, and executive teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business goals. Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing marketing team., • RFP Oversight: Responsible for the preparation and timely delivery of responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications., • Social media & Digital Presence: Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that engage and grow our internal and external audience base., • Strategic Planning & Execution: Help develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring measurable growth in brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue., • Brand Development & Messaging: Help oversee and refine TSE brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency across all channels including digital, print, and social media platforms. Work closely with internal teams to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences., • Team Management: Manage marketing vendors., • Budget Management: Responsible for structuring and managing company marketing budget with a focus on allocation of resources to effectively maximize the return on investment (ROI) and ensure marketing campaigns are executed within budgetary constraints. Provide regular budget forecasts, ensure the efficient use of resources, and adjust strategies as needed. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)., • Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a lead role., • Experience with RFPs, brand management, social media, digital marketing, and content marketing preferred., • Strong ability to manage marketing projects, personnel, and vendors to drive marketing messaging., • Awareness of market trends, lighting, construction, and contracting best practices., • Experience with energy, sustainability, engineering, construction, and utility programs desired., • Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables,, • Outstanding written and verbal communication, active listening, and presentation, editing and interpersonal skills,, • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities,, • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment with multiple concurrent deadlines., • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat/Reader, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator., • Must reside in New Jersey. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Knowledge of marketing in an engineering, contracting, or professional services firm is a plus., • Required knowledge of marketing processes and tools., • Ability to review requirements, costs, and existing tools to provide recommendations to executive team and then drive solutions., • Being open to feedback and continuous improvement., • Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver results within set timelines., • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and strong analytical skills., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment., • Provide clarity in complex problems, facilitate decision-making, and guide marketing investments., • Strong customer service capability focusing on proactively identifying customer needs and managing customer expectations., • Self-starter who can work within a team environment to drive results., • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and planning skills., • Knowledge of marketing processes and tools relevant to engineering, construction, or professional services firms is a plus., • Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and industry-specific best practices (e.g., lighting, construction, sustainability). Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this position is to read meters and record consumption of the water used, cleaning of meter boxes, and removal of vegetation impeding access to meters Position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor Perform manual work taking readings of meter dials and entering the read into a hand-held unit or laptop computer Perform general maintenance of meter boxes which may include cleaning sand and debris from box and removal of some vegetation to gain access to the meter box Walks or drives a vehicle along established routes to take readings of meter dials Report to billing department any problems such as damaged boxes or lids, obstructions to meter access, water in meter box, water leaks, and spinning dials on register Report to billing department any problems with dogs, bees, snakes or other wildlife which prevents access to meters Complete re-read service orders to verify readings In cases where consumption appears to be abnormal, and record possible reasons for the fluctuations Record and report any illegal usage to the billing department Follow all safety procedures, rules and regulations Utilize all safety equipment Performs work related to this job description as required to include special projects and provide assistance to our Division as needed Work is performed primarily outdoors Involves frequent interaction with people
